Keepers of Parsons Memorial Library

Welcome Patrons & Neighbors!

Keepers of Parsons Memorial Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to support the Parsons Memorial Library in its mission to provide materials and services that fulfill the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of the entire community in a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.

The Town of Alfred plays a critical role in funding the library's core operating budget, which includes salaries, utilities, building maintenance, programs, and circulation materials.  Fundraising supports additional patron benefits such as free and reduced-admission museum passes; extra programs, concerts, and speakers; event refreshments, incentives, and prizes; annual Summer Reading Program, and capital improvement campaigns.

As a nonprofit organization, Keepers of PML will provide supplemental funds to support the continued growth of the library's programs, materials, and the beautiful library building here in Alfred.

We are looking for members of the community who would like to share their time, energy, and dollars!  If you would like to be involved, please contact us.
