Children's Services
What do you think of when you think of Children’s Services? At Parsons Memorial Library, that includes a little bit of everything from our popular Story Time, to Toddler Time, play-based learning kits, a robust and diverse book collection of both fiction and nonfiction, crafts, play centers, our new Yoto audio collection, and a Family Workstation that allows parents to work remotely while their children play safely in our Children’s Room.
Junior Services
At PML we know our Junior patrons seek a little more independence and appreciate learning that’s fun, too. We offer educational workshops, game times without screens, an updated collection of engaging fiction and nonfiction titles, an ever-growing Lego collection, and spaces where they can hang out with their friends to do homework, read books, play board games, or build with Lego.
Teen Services
For our teen patrons we offer a break from the increasing busyness of daily life. Along with our once-a-month themed Teen Nights, we’ve got volunteer opportunities that give them community service hours, spaces for hanging out safely with friends to study, play games, do a craft, or build with Lego, and, as always, we’ve got an excellent collection of fiction and nonfiction books for them to peruse.
