Parsons Memorial Library teamed with the Alfred Historical Committee and the Alfred Conservation Commission to prepare and install this StoryWalk® for our community. We hope you will enjoy "Hello Lighthouse" by Caldecott Medalist Sophie Blackall. It is a beautifully illustrated, heartwarming tale that captures the peak of lighthouse life and the changing of eras. Look for the stunning details in the artwork that highlight the magic of the coast! As you walk and read, enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our own historic One-Room Schoolhouse.
