Join us for an exciting, hands-on STEM adventure—led by Mousam River STEM Academy—where kids become engineers for the day!
In this one-hour program, students ages 5–11 will take on the famous Königsberg Bridge Challenge, a real-world puzzle that has fascinated mathematicians for centuries. Through this challenge, students will begin thinking like problem-solvers and explore how engineers approach complex designs.
Next, we’ll explore the basics of bridge engineering, including key concepts like compression and tension, and how these forces help structures stay strong.
Finally, students will put their skills to the test by building their own Leonardo da Vinci-style bridge—a structure that holds together using only design and balance, with no fasteners or glue!
