A Big Thank You to the Keepers of Parsons Memorial Library!

We have some exciting news to share from the balcony! If you’ve visited lately, you may have noticed a cozy upgrade to our seating area. We want to extend a huge thank you to the Keepers of Parsons Memorial Library for their generous purchase of two additional cafe lounge chairs.

These chairs are the perfect finishing touch to the furniture and technology upgrades recently made possible through the Remote Work through Libraries grant. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to answer emails or a comfortable nook to dive into a new book, the balcony is now better than ever.

More Than Just Furniture

The Keepers’ support goes far beyond the walls of the library. Their dedication helps our community explore the beauty and culture of Maine by sponsoring:

• The Children's Museum and Theatre of Maine pass

• The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens pass

We are also thrilled to announce that the Keepers will be one of the main sponsors of this year’s Summer Reading Program: "Plant a Seed, Read!" Their contribution ensures that our summer of literacy and growth will be a success for readers of all ages.
