This past Saturday, November 22nd, we held our Upcycled Book Vases program, and it was a fantastic day of creativity and repurposing! Participants learned how to transform old hardbound books into beautiful and unique vases through a process of cutting, rolling, and gluing pages. The results were truly stunning!
We hosted two classes, each with its own special touch. The first class focused on creating arrangements using vibrant artificial flowers, allowing for endless color combinations and imaginative displays.
The second class had the pleasure of working with beautiful dried flowers, generously donated by Whiskey and Wine Acres. This provided a wonderful opportunity to create arrangements with a rustic and timeless appeal, showcasing the natural beauty of the dried botanicals. We extend a huge thank you to Whiskey and Wine Acres for their thoughtful contribution, which truly enhanced the experience for our participants! Be sure to check out Whiskey and Wine Acres on Facebook and Instagram (@whiskeywineacres) to see more of their amazing work and beautiful blooms!
